A love she can’t forget. A truth she can’t ignore.
In the wake of an all-consuming summer romance, Avalon must decide whether to keep chasing what once felt like magic—or surrender to the deeper healing she never knew she needed.
A Glimpse Into Avalon’s Love
In the quiet mountain town of Forgotten Lake, Avalon has finally found peace—or so she thinks.
One morning by the water, she meets a stranger who feels both familiar and impossible to ignore. What begins as a fleeting summer romance spirals into something deeper, messier, and unforgettable.
As Avalon’s heart unravels, she’s forced to face what it really means to love someone who can’t love her back.
Think late-night drives, messy feelings, and the kind of love that leaves a mark. This playlist was the moodboard behind Avalon’s Love — the songs that shaped the story before it ever hit the page.
Reader Reflections —
“It’s never too late to rebuild yourself…”
An enjoyable read about a young intelligent woman who has to navigate the realization that the love and passion a man brings to her life, slowly compromises her own self worth and confidence. It's a situation all too common in relationships. I've seen the devastating effects of how that slow infection, grew and manifested in my own parent's relationship as I grew up. The warning of how that slope can sneak up on you when you're blinded by love is important. The power that attraction and connection can have on your decision making, even as a confident person, is true warning to those who put up with much worse in the name of love. Avalon's realization of that after going through such heartache, pain and self doubt was refreshing. The cycle can be broken and its never too late to rebuild yourself and start over. Very much recommend!
